Texture Overlays
Linen - A fine cloth like texture overlay
Sandtex - The most popular overlay giving your prints a shining stipple finish
Gloss - This overlay gives a gloss finish
Matte - This overlay gives a matte finish
Foamcore: The most popular mount available is 5mm mounting materials with a rigid foam centre. This is a very lightweight material. Foamcore may bend slightly if not framed.
Gatorboard: This sturdy high quality board is 5mm in thickness which is most suitable for print up to 30”x40”. It is often used for larger sized prints where matting and gloss are not to be included in the final presentation. Gatorboard remains very flat if left unframed.
Custom Wood: This 9mm mount board is the strongest available. Custom Wood is suitable for the mounting of all size photgraphs, the surface is not as smooth as a Foamcore or
Gatorboard. Archival quality is not good because of the glues used in the manufacture of the board.
